goodmorning fellow 3 owners
i have my 6000K HID kit about 6 mothns now and im thinking of a change.. can i buy separately the 8000k or 10000k bulb and plug them in my current ballasts?
would it cause any problems?

Make sure you get a D2S and it should work just fine. You're getting higher K-rating bulbs for looks right? Because it'll actually decrease your light output at night with this setup.

yes its just for look.. sorry for being a noob but what is a D2S ?? :/ oh and some other question... where can i get a spacer for the h7??? do i have to modify the OEM ones? because until now i was using taped bottle taps :D

Oh wait...my bad. I didn't read your first post carefully. You have an aftermarket HID kit now on yoru MS3 Sport correct? I assumed you had stock HIDs (via GT model).

Since you currently have an aftermarket HID kit, I believe you can just get the 8K or 10K bulbs and use it with your current kit. Shouldn't run into issues - can you contact the vendor your purchased the HID kit from and see if they sell the bulbs?

no its mazda 3 1.6 (:D) i think i will go with the xenon experts ones that offer the spacers.. whats the difference if i put a 55w kit? (a bit off topic excuse me)

IIRC, a 55W kit wil put out a more intense/brighter light.
