HID Ballast Placement

I did it and it worked. Thanks guys.

When you use a screw driver:

Turning Right: lowers it
Turning Left : takes it up

works the same using 10mm wrench or socket too (wink)

Yes, it does but getting my hands in that small area and using a socket wrench sucked lol. It is nice because they made a perfect groove that you can slide your screw driver through to reach the adjustment screw. I just used a long screwdriver.

Did the pwr steering pulley rub your hand when doing the passenger side while adjusting it? Mine did once so that's why I started doing the 1/4" drive ratchet/10mm socket thing on mine, lol. Yes, I drove to dark place and got out and adjusted using the pavement to make it hit where I wanted it and then drove around to make sure it was right when driving because the wall is just a starting point as far as I'm concerned. The motor is running whenever I fine tune most of my light adjustments. Even on the wall doesn't necessarily = even and straight up/down & side to side on the pavement.

Has anyone else had significant radio interference from the ballasts? I have mine on the inner fender and I get a lot of radio interference, even with ferrite cores between the igniter and the bulb. I'm using the Morimoto H1 kit with 35W Morimoto XB ballasts.

I've had my DDM slim ballasts for about five years now and never had any radio interference. They're located with red arrows:
