juan has a act clutch but i think he is still a one tire fryer
yep, hes had the act clutch since day one & no lsd yet....
next time juan you need to race the high 11's diesel truck!:D hahahahahah that thing was sick!!!!

112 with full slicks is definately moving...with that trap and 60' id expect a better e/t but maybe next time(low 12s are more then possible how the car sits im sure), high 11s too =)

I find it really hard to believe you ran a 1.9 60' with a one wheel peel, unless the track was really well prepared or your just an amazing driver.

12.5 @ 112 doesn't really impress me for the amount of stuff done to it. I think I'll be more impressed if/when I see an 11 second pass.

Side note I ran 13.5 @ 104.77 with like a 2.2-2.3 60' time.....and thats with many stock components.

Some people will never be pleased... I knew plenty of people that said my low 12, possibly high 11 second Mustang was "slow as balls."

Of couse these were people with stock Camaros and Mustangs and older muscle cars.. But oh well.

there always got to be one.... someone to add negativity to a great thread...

No negativity was meant. 12.5 is wicked fast for any street car, Let alone a 4 banger station wagon. Juan is definetly an amazing driver for getting a 1.9 60' with a front-wheel drive car, let alone a one wheel peel. I was kinda commenting on his hinting that he should/could be in the 11.'s with this combination.

Sorry for the mis-interpertation......

I know the car is capable of hitting the 11s. I was only able to make 3 runs and all were faster everytime. First was 12.9 then 12.6 and then 12.5. It was 104 degrees F. In the fall we should be faster also with lower temps.

I kept the car in 4th gear to the finsh line killing the top speed a little bit. I should have shifted to 5th to get a faster speed and better time.

Next time I will have the Quaife LSD in there.

the car is more than able to get into 11's. california speedway is a decent track for traction. i got a 2.1 60ft on a street tire that day at the same track. 1.9 on slicks isnt really pushing it, i think juan could get 1.7-1.8 if he really lauched hard. i remember all day long juan was lauching very conservative. i have a few friends that run d/r at the same track and they run 1.9-2.0 all day long.

I just noticed.. Are those Weld Draglites on the car? I had some on my Mustang and they were great. If they're not, they look exactly the same.. Well, other than my rears were wider and the front was the skinnies. :D

juan has some skills on the strip , i think when we gets the lsd it should be in the 11's which would be the fastest protege around.
