Hello, all! New to Mazda (although my Dad unexpectedly brought home a new red RX-7 back in the mid-80's, but that's another story!). Thought I'd join the forum and see what the community had to offer. Hopefully you guys can give me some good advice for what to watch out for and how to take care of our new CX-9, which my wife has affectionately dubbed "Ruby".
Finally gave in and got my wife exactly the family hauler she wanted for her birthday: zeal red 2014 CX-9 GT FWD with tan interior. It came with roof rails and bumper guard. Had the dealer throw in the cargo tray and cross beams (haven't installed the crossbeams yet) for cargo hauling. We're still on week 1, but so far she loves the car, and we both love the looks and the interior volume. I especially like the overall value for the money, with the exception of the gas mileage, which we knew wasn't going to be stellar. Any tips for a new CX-9 owner? I look forward to browsing the knowledge base here!
