hey soon to be

hahaha

yeah that another question... how is the MS3 with MPG.. is it good?

and now i drive a 97 jeep cherokee..

and yeah i know how to drive stick.. but i still practice it.. =]

For the amount of power it puts out the MPG is good.

City: 15-24

HWY: 21-29

The gaps between are because it depends greatly on how you drive it.

you have to understand that most 17 year olds dont own a 24,000 dollar car. Im 20 so im still part of the young crowd, but what ev. these are different times. Have fun with the car. Been there done that as far as having a fast car when i was 18 (Modded MSP). You will get a speeding ticket and then hopefully you will learn after just one like i did. or you could end up like my friends with 2-to many.

first thing i would do, would be get some corksport inserts, they greatly improve the car all around. then stick with mazdaspeed stuff so you can keep the warranty.

hahahah

1. not one of my friends know what an 86 camaro is.. (sssh)

2. i would be afriad to go against a bettle.. are you kidding.. it would smoke me (rlaugh)

but yeah i cant wait for it. and yeah your lucky to have all of your expenses paid for. but i cant wait to drive my MS3 =D

Damn punks! How can they not know what a 86 Camaro is (IROQ, Z28, *sigh*) - well if you need to be schooled in what a Chevvvvyyyy is let me know :D

Beatle shouldnt smoke you ( the drivers are usually smokin' but not the car...)

As everyone said: be safe and save the money to take it to the track... thats where the real drivers prove themselves (anyone can stomp on the gas and hit 130, not many can do so while turning and shifting and hitting apex late etc - I sure as hell cant.... end up scaring the hell out of myself)

By the way, I just have the regular Mazda3i. I was going for MPG. I already have one incredible gas guzzler (see avatar) hehehe :D

haha i was too, but im so booooored! i need some torque! (drive2)
(to be very smart and responsible with, that is.....) when the time is right. i know when to have fun and when not to.

It will depend entirely on your driving style. The car itself is probably capable of 30+ MPG just because of its small displacement and a manual transmission - depending on how it is geared.

The first time you stomp on the gas, though, everything goes out the window - especially with the turbo. If you save the power for the track, there's no reason you can't get 30mpg out of it on the highway.

My commuting vehicle uses no gas at all :D
