Hey new here

Hey Everyone!

I'm a former 02' Civic Si (EP3) owner that is looking to get back into the tuning world. I had quite a bit done to my Si like, turbo, suspenion and various other power mods. I had to trade it in because of my commute in the winter months. I went with a Nissan Xterra, when gas was like 2.90 a gallon (7 months ago). I now live only 10mins from my new job and doubled my salary. Now I'm very tempted to go with the MS3 as it reminds me a lot of my old turbo hatch. My only real concern is how it performs in the snow. I wanna hit 300whp and i don't know how the crazy amount of torque these cars have is gonna be in those wintry months of upstate NY. Anyone have much experience driving these in bad winter conditions. I know it's not gonna be like driving and AWD suv but for what it is i'm hoping it would handle well enough in snow.

Get good winter tires and it will do fine. The direct injection gives you plenty of torque down low and you can drive it just like a non-turbo car in bad weather. Pretty low clearance though, so deeper snow will be a problem.
