The first thing you are going to want to do is get a bigger turbo then install it yourself and keep the rpms up in the 6000rpm range.

Hi Kyle, welcome aboard! =) Congrats on your purchase too! By the way, you'll probably receive a lot of comments regarding your age and car you bought..lol In any case, enjoy the hell out of it, and for starters, as you can tell; power is not an issue. So you could start with suspension upgrades first, and more than likely; a rear motor mount upgrade. look into TRZ Dogbone mount from www.protogegarage.com There's 2 bushing types available from protogegarage. A poly bushing, and a delrin bushing. The delrin is the stiffest of the 2, so if you want less vibration in your car from the engine, go for the poly mount version. As for me, I have the delrin, and it vibrates into 1st gear, and down shifting. The power is definitely getting to the ground with a lot less engine flexing if at all. As for anything else, totally up to you, and what your goals are. In the end, like I said, enjoy it!

Indeed! I'm pushing 30 and I'm only now able to (barely) afford an MS3. Enjoy the ride and treat it well. The first car I bought with my own money was a Protege5 back in 2003. All I can say is please respect the car and realize you are privileged to have it.

Congrats on the car! Its a lot of fun. I'm 22, so not too far ahead of you in the age department.
I agree with the other posters here who said start with the suspension. I would say go suspension, motor mount, brakes, and engine monitoring electronics. Then, after that, start adding in power slowly and strengthening the internals if you still think you need to mod power. You can look at my sig and see what's going in my car right now...I would say following a similar approach is the safest way to mod the car if you absolutely want to.

Well i have been talking to some of the people i work with and friends about it.
I wanted to get a new intake and bov. But after the installs does that mess with the computer or anything or can i just install and im good to go?
Also a lot of people are telling me to just get lighter rims and tires and wait for mods because of the warranty. (i want to get new rims anyways)
other then that its the funnest car i have ever driven, i baby it like no other but every once in a while you gotta have fun.... i just broke 8000 miles.

In my (old fart) opinion, the first thing to improve is the driver. Sign up for a track day with instuction. You will have an amazingly good time and get intimate with the car before changing anything. This will give insights into your style and what you want the car to do. Enjoy the ride!

pay it off as soon as you can...unless you have higher interest debt out there of course pay that first!
but yeah great car out the box and lots of fun!
when the stock speed gets old...mod it!

You'll lose power with a BOV. You can get a similar sound with a new BPV instead.
where can i order a good BPV then? and what intake should i get. I know a lot of people are buying that cobb intake, i was thinking of the hks intake. but if i do install anything do i have to mess with the computer or anything or like i said earlier can i just install and ill be fine.

whatsup Kyle my name is Kyle as well! Welcome. Get an intake and a nice sounding bpv and you'll probably be lovin your turbo sounds/performance for a while. Some people like the quiet/stealth look, but if you want to enjoy the beautiful sounds of your turbo, get those 2 items.

you won't get any problems with an intake, deleting resonators (for sound), or a bpv. They are pretty straight forward installs. The intake will make a great sound and its an easy gain in hp for less than $200 if you check on EBAY. The bpv is more of a personal taste if you like the sounds it makes, it will make you want to rev the s*** out of your turbo if you get one as it sounds very cool
