Hesitation from a stop.

There is a hesitation when starting from a dead stop. It seems to be happening about 1500 rpm and most of the time is a slight pause. some other things I noticed is it only does it when warm, if i go wot it is worse and bogs til 2500. There is no codes but i was able to get it to throw a cylinder 1 and 4 misfire by putting it in 2nd and getting hard on the gas and it will bog til 3k, only happened one and since cant get it to come back. The plugs are 500 miles old, I replaced the cylinder 1,4 coil pack with no change and tried swapping both with known working packs, no change. Idle is solid but once in a great while will stumble for a split second. Car is a sport shift AT. Any suggestions on what the cause is or anything to check?

Did you change the wires? And we're the plugs gapped correctly? Just cause they're Pre gapped doesn't mean it's right

ForYes I gapped the plugs to the service manual, and pulled the plugs and they all look good. I'm going to swap the coils and wires from a buddy's p5. I just got laid off so I'm trying to avoid throwing parts at it. The dealer where I bought it from looked at it and the diagnosis was an oil change, valve cover gasket and a timing belt.
Would a stretched belt cause the timeing to go out enough to cause a slight hesitation?
They quoted 660 for the repair but the extended warranty got covers the belt so 400 they told me. Which is BS. I told them them I had it for onl1200 miles so it shouldn't be time for a change and they told me it wasn't done before they sold it to me., so I have no confidence in this dealer.

I believe they think I know nothing about cars, I just want to know what the issue is and if its cover in the warranty. You know, why should I deal with it when they should.
