Help with Oil Pressure gauge install

bump for pics....i'll be doin this soon. is the plastic hose that comes with the gauge okay or does anyone recommend something else?

if ur talking about running one of those non electric gauges into ur interior i would think again essentially if it started leaking at the gauge you would have oil leaking into your interior i replaced my stock oil sending unit about 6 weeks ago i have a 99 protege 1.8 and i needed a special oil sending unit socket and im pretty sure these oil sending units are useless because once the dummy light comes on you already have like no oil pressure and ur all ready s*** out of luck i just replaced it because it was 10 bux and mine was leaking if i was to get a oil pressure gauge i would go electric and dont even bother spliting it off with a T joint the car will run without that sensor no problem.

but for the unknowing... the stock sensor is a male 1/8 BSP. most aftermarket sending units are male 1/8 NPT. there will have to be an adapter of some kind in order to do the install wheather you tee it off or not. Dubbydoo's suggestion for the tee fitting is awsome because it allows for 2 gauges or 1 gauge and turbo oil line feed.

something really kick ass to do would be take the stealthmode tee and tap the female 1/8 BSP port to be a AN-6 line for your turbo feed line (to upgrade from AN-4). the (2) 1/8 NPT ports could be used for oil temp and oil pressure.
