I keep on finding mixed answers about rocking 205/65/15 for winter so I don't know if i'm able to do it. Currently I have 205/45/16 (stock mags) and it's fine, theres a pretty decent amount of wheel gap but it's stock. I'll adjust my braking distance accordingly once I get the tires on but I just want to make sure there won't be any problems, i've seen another protege with the same size winters and it looked fine. The only reason I'm going for that size is cause I might get a super sweet deal.

its a hell of a jump in size
considering stock is 23.7" tall tire, your currently rockin a 23.3" tall tire or .4" smaller

The ones your looking at are 26.5" tall or 2.8" taller then stock or 3.2" taller then what your running now. I'd be surprised to see them not rubbing on bumps and turns.
