i just bought a 99 protege dx, and i was just wondering...
the speaker sizes for my car are:
1998-2000 Protege Sedan
Front 5x7" @ 2.75"
* Can use 6x8"s, see note above.
* Can also use 5.25"s or 6.5"s with additional work, see note above.
Rear 6x9" @ Over 8"
how my questions, what does Over 8" mean? i am going to guess thats the size of the speaker, by how big it is?
also, do you know where the front speakers are?
im guessing they are in the door panel, because there is a little speaker covers on the door, but im not getting any sound from them, did the dx only come w/ the 2 in the back? or am i looking at the wrong place?
oh, and just so you know how lucky i am, i have only had this car 4 days, and someone already managed to give it a scratch on the front bumper
who would have thought that i wouldnt be the first one to put damage on this car
