I am thinking since i have a white car maybe some of the darker colors the black housing or the carbon fiber ones what do you guys think ?

Go JDM if you have the coin.

If not, you could do what I did and get red turn signal overlays from bluebatmobile.net. They're abut $15 with shipping and I think they really make the tail look better. The turn signal still shows through, though I need to get a brighter set of bulbs because they're a bit dim in direct sunlight. Here's a pic:

i did a light tint on mine, almost the same tint as the trail blazers http://images.automotive.com/cob/fa...6_LAAS/2006_Chevrolet_TrailBlazer_SS_rear.jpg, which are stock tail lights. so i have had no problems, if worst comes to worst, i dont know how the laws are around you but here if you get the "problem" replaced within a week, they shred the ticket. so if i get pulled over and get a ticket for my tails and buy new ones, i bring the reciept to court and they let me go

The thing about my tint is that I don't think the police would even notice it...it looks like it's stock like that. There are plenty of creative tails out there, and I doubt that a cop would notice I have slightly darker amber tails. Tinting smoke or black is a whole other issue...(five-0)

IMHO i dont like altezza's at all, but im sure you'll get some input on some other members about which ones to buy, cause there are a few guys that have them on their car, and if anyone starts hating on your choice of taillights, ignore them, its your car DO WHAT YOU WANT with your car, its your own way of style.

I'd always wondered what my p5 would look like with body-colored altezza stile rears and body-colored headlights. Though I'm too chicken and cheap to find out

I would go JDM but if you like the carbon fiber look then get them and put a little bit of tint on it to give it a better look in my opinion.

Personally my cars red, and my theme is black and red, so I got the black altezzas on mine, but if you gunna get any of those go with the black ones, chrome is just stupid, adds major ricer status, and the fake carbon fiber just looks stupid. Get the black if any

I think the stock tails are perfect. Far better then the altezza and even JDM.
EDM's are kind of cool though.
