can anyone please tell me what the difference between an speed3 08 and a speed3 08.5. I have talked to 4 dealers and they all tell me the same no such thing as a speed 08.5 only on the regular 3. Im about to buy a sunlight silver speed3 so what year is this one. They have true red that im leaning towards.

thank you

May only be cosmetics -- Crystal White Pearl is a new color for '08 1/2

The madza.ca website lists a Speed3 2008.5. There's a post somewhere on here that had a list of differences. From what I remember they were mostly cosmetic: Some new colours, the seats are a different colour, and the HU can play MP3 discs.

Instead of brushed aluminum interior trim on the 08 the 08.5 has a shiny black material. Other than that the two different colors. If you have silver it is an 08. Silver isnt available any more. It is metro gray and crystal while pearl.

That is right, the seats in the 08 have gray inserts down the middle. THe 08.5 is all black. I like the 08 seats better.

- Seats in GT are leather/alcantara in the 08.5s instead of leather/cloth for 08s
- 08.5s have piano black trim pieces in the interior
- 08.5s have white gauge needles instead of red
- 08.5 radios support MP3 playback
- 08 colors are Red, Black, Silver, Cosmic blue 08.5 colors are Red, Black, Metro Gray, White

there was literally the exact same tread posted yesterday night.
