trying to get my parts list together for everthing that needs to be fixed on my car. need help on brands maybe different stuff than i know about.

struts will be tokico blues

springs - tein stechs, eibach prokit? does the sedan and p5 use the same spring whats different? if they use the same springs il probly be using megan racing. ride quality is not important handling is

strut bearing?- i think thats what its called, whatever it is that sits on top of the strut that holds the spring down. i believe ive got atleast one bad one may as well replace the rest while im at it

brake pads-something that wont smoke like a mofo and not want to stop after a 10 min fun run but wont cost an arm and a leg. need front and rear also may need some rotors

endlinks- ford escape up front maybe stock for the rear. anybody find anything stronger?

ball joint- not sure if its bad or not need to get some one to look at it. sounds like a pop from the front drivers side i cant tell if its the endlink or not the endlink on the front passenger side is completely broken

im trying to keep costs in the 1200-1500 area and also make for a very stiff suspension. il be doing all the work myself with the exception of mounting the springs onto the struts. any in put/personal opinions are appreciated

It's called the strut mount and yes they should be replaced if originals.

If you can do all of this yourself, then you can handle spring replacement. You can rent the spring compressor tool (usually for free after a full refund of your deposit) at most auto parts store. It's easiest to use with an air gun but a socket/ratchet will work too. The one I rented was very safe to use which was comforting to know as there is LOTS of force involved.

Sorry I have no advice on the performance parts as I used generic stuff but even the aftermarket bar end links were still beefier than the stockers (LOL) and came with grease nipples.

i may try that but not sure. ive never done this before so ill be learning as i go with some help from my brother

anybody know if the mazda 6 rear brakes use the adjustment screw? if not its getting a brake up grade aparently autozone doesnt like to sell calipers for our cars that work

IIRC the rear brakes won't fit without bigger than stock rims. However fronts will fit with stock rims.

bump still need suggestions for
brake pads- centric posi quite, ebc green stuff, hawk hps. i dont want it to be real dusty, but must be able to handle 80+mph stops and mountain runs
front rotors- would prefer drilled or drilled and slotted no idea on what brand i should go for. something with a good coating that wont rust
springs- still have no idea its kind of between megans and teins at this point

trying to get parts list together to start ordering stuff and shopping around

Its all personal preference for the most part. Having personally run most of the parts you are looking at Id suggest Hawk HPS pads up front on slotted rotors (dont do drilled and slotted, they never work out) Take a look at the brembo slotted rotors. Springs, Id run the Teins, better R&D behind them. Goodluck !
