HELP! kinda sorta urgent

ok seeing as how only dsic brakes i've worked with are camaros and firebirds, this mazda is kinda new to me, i went into this thinking it would be pretty damn close to the same, but, WTF ARE THESE FOR? they fell out and i didn't see where they came from.

Hmmm. Are they the squealer so you know when your pads are wearing thin?

they hold the pads in.. i got confused also when installing new pads.. take a look at the other side and they will make sense.

the go on the upper part of the caliper and clip on to the pads.

They hold the pads away from the disc when your not braking - therfore no squealing.....look at the top of the pads there should be to holes same on each pad.........one spring for the top one for the bottom........

aight thanx guys, when i pulled the caliepr off they fell out and i didn't see where thye came from.
