help, i was driving back home to carolina from florida and had to bring a buddy of mine back to jacksonville naval base in N.C. anyways i was on the road llike seventeen hours and on some backroad hicktown road, not paying attention and i got pulled over doin 97 in a 55. ive heard there are a lot of loop-holes to play w/. nc police are really strict and if i dont get out of this i will lose my liscense and the only other ticket i have is one for 9 over like six months ago. please help, i finally got a cool car and im gonna lose my liscense.

I've heard that if the ticket is like 200$ you send a check of 202$ and they wont take your points out till you depose the check they will send you (2$ in that case). Well this work here in canada... i've heard...

Well if it isn't too far away you can actually go to court. You havea 50/50 chance that the cop won't even show up. If he doesn't, you are free. If he does be prepared. Go to the police station and ask for their calibration records for that squad car. If they don't give them to you, yoe are free. If they do and the calibration is expired, you are free. If you don't know the car # you can get that to from the date of the ticket, the cops name, the date of the ticket, etc. It will also help if your friend shows up in court and testifies in your defense that you were not speeding. There is an internet site you can go to to get info like this. Just search for it at yahoo or something. There are so many loop holes. Sometimes if you are very prepared for a fight, the judge will be so impressed that he will let you off anyway. Good luck. ;)

Sometimes a lawyer is a good idea too. Tickets suck but lawyers can help. The only problem is that they might not be able to get you off for it, which would suck because you are paying them and the fine and all that crap. I would try those tricks and maybe one of them will pay off.
