Help E Brake

well I just swapped my rear pads on my car but does anyone know how to adjust the E brake, when I pull it all the way up nothing happens?????

I did my rear brakes 2 weeks ago and I had the same problem. However it did adjust itself after a few days. I may have compressed the caliper too much. Now the e-brake works fine. You did not break anything- It will adjust itself

Thats good to know cause i did my pads 2 weeks ago as well. I tightened the cylinder so much it locked my back brakes. Then I readjusted them and they seem to be fine. Don't smell any brake smoking so i should be all good
