HELP! Door Speakers

I need some help! I am installing a system in my P5 and I want to run new wires to the door speakers. The rubber boot that is on each doors has a hiring harness built into the frame of the car and there is NO WAY to run a wire thru it. Has any one ran new speaker wires? How did you do it?

Thanks-a-lot.

Yep and it takes time.
Under the rubber boot you will find a 2 part clip in the door jam, one part in the jam the other in the side the car.
The clip is held in at 1,5,7 and 11 o'clock positions by little plastic clips so you have to depress the plastic grabbing arms toward the entire clip then it will come apart from the other clip. Then you have to line up each and see where ther are no wires, then drill out those locations. Then run the wire throught the car and up into the boot form inside the car then through each clip then into the boot and finaly into the door.
It took me about 4 hours to do both front doors.

That definitely answers my question. NOT REALLY WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR but hey, what can ya' do. What about drilling new holes, is that a possibility?

Thanks for the help man. pp

Drill them in the clip where there are no pins, There are a few spots. Drilling outside of the boot and clip is a guarentee for water, corrosion not to mention a really messed up wire.

Crap!!! I was going to run speaker level lines for a sub off the front door speakers when I replace them with my Infiniti's. Any suggestions on where I should tap from instead?
