Hey guys,

I installed the AXR clunk brackets on my MSP and love them. It actually handles almost like a RWD car now.

THe odd thing is, the car is sitting a tad lower in the rear now with the AXR brackets installed. The thing is, I'm thinking of replacing my original struts & springs with aftermarket items. My problem is that with the AXR bracktes lowering the car, what effect will this have on the drop the aftermarket springs provide? I kinda like the height the rear is at right now, and I only want to drop the front. Do I have to buy 2 different sets of springs?

Any help and/or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

just drop the front? leave the stockers in the rear. are you chaning the stock tocikos out too? if you are, then there are tons os options since you dont have to worry about the rear spring perch issue.

That's a little odd. I'm pretty sure I will not be the only one in saying after I installed my clunk fix brackets, it did not affect the ride height.

When I installed my AXR brackets, there wasn't any difference in the ride height. If there was, it wasn't noticeable.

Hmmm, maybe it's just my imagination or my mind playing tricks on me.
Anyway, I think I might just go with a set of H&R, Progress, or Tein S-Techs.

every winter my back end drops a little, at one point I thought it was because of the axr bracket but I'm pretty sure its just the rear struts dying out
