hey guys, my name is Martin. I'm from NJ and I just bought and MX-3 GS.

I'm so freaking glad that there's actually a site online that talks about these cars and it's not SO outdated!!

nevertheless, I'm glad there's a site that keeps Mazda's running strong and a topic for everyday convo's haha (cheers2)

anyone in the NJ area have an MX(anything) 3 or 6?

I'm looking to swap it with the 2.5 KLZE by the end on 2010 and turbo it before summer!!

lol, hell yes I was! anyway I could send them to you so you could check them out?

it was bought as a Salvage car in PA. The person owns a body shop and had a few things he had to replace but all in all, I think the car looks decent now.

front bumper and front lights aren't currently installed though, gotta do that soon! haha (eek2)

thanks! and yeah, I had to get a fuel pump for it, it was like 25$ with shipping on youtube, it's OEM.

did you have a GS too?

thanks, it's a work in progress like everyone else on the forum..lol lots more carbon fiber to come, built motor and GT3071R coming soon, a few more go fast bits and some suspension work/bracing

huh? No heated seats. It did have black leather. That may have been a canadian option, I dont know. But here in the states we only got that car in one color, Raspberry Metallic.

oh, gotcha, that is what it was.

if you are talking to me, Im not too familiar with Megasquirt. There are a couple of megasquirt threads on here somewhere and I believe one member on here is running the Megasquirt EMS. As far as the protege guys go, most of us are running the Split Second air/fuel controller, Unichip, or Haltech standalone and couln't be more happier. Search the EMS/tuning subforum and see what you can find. If not, just start a thread asking about megasquirt and see what others have to say.
