Idk what caused it to blow 100% but when I pulled out of work I got maybe 1000 feet and then boom. Wasn't in boost and was just shifting from 1st to 2nd let the clutch out and ZZB :-(. But my theory of why it ZZB'd is about a week before I drained my OCC and to tighten it it's backwards right loose left tight lol and I happened to leave it open for a day and was getting lean at idle code. Jake humphrey found the problem but might have been to late at that point. But can't say for sure

@rkrise - got a dealer to replace the engine with a custom flash? Lucky indeed.
I had my smoking turbo replaced under warranty back in the day. That was a hassle. Never touching a k04 again.

Yeah I stocked out the car. Only mod was the sure aeros when I sent it in.
