Just purchased a Black 2007 Grand Touring Mazda5 for the wife. I really like it.

I did not get any packages on it because I figured I could get them cheaper later. This has proven to be true as I already got the Cargo Cover, All Weather Mats, and Bumper Step Guard for $210 total cost. I'll be looking for the homelink mirror and remote start shortly; if anyone has any leads I would welcome that.

Besides the extras, I plan on making a couple of simple mods, nothing too obvious. I want to start by exchanging the halogen bulbs (I have HID for low beams, so I mean high beams, fogs, etc.) for whiter bulbs. However, I can't figure out how to remove any of the bulbs...yet. I'll be looking at the manual later.

Great ride, and I drive a 2002 MB E430 for comparison!

If I recall correctly, the Homelink does not function correctly on GT models>? Something to do with the Rain sensing auto wipers or something. Can someone else confirm/deny?

I don't have rain sensing wipers, that's not even listed as an option.

Ah, with the auto "Intermittent Wipers"; yes, I have those. But there is a note saying there is a kit for that already.

Anyway, I'm still thinking about it because I can fix the "auto-dim" issue with tinting the rear window, which I will do. So the only feature that I really like is the homelink and compass. For $200+ I'll think about it some more

I'll have some pics later this week, been a bit busy. The combination is brown and black, not tan. It looks better in black than the other colors I saw, and the wife and I both wanted black.

I'm also thinking about the roof rack, so I'll be looking around for after market comparison to Mazda's product.

As to price, I traded in a 2006 that I had for only three months. I paid $15.2k for the '06, and I got $15K on trade. The price on the new one was $21.4. I think it was OK, especially since they basically let me use the '06 until the '07 came in.
