Just curious if anyone here could recommend some headrest monitors for my Protege5. I would like to spend about $150 per screen if possible. I have a few linked below that I think might fit. What problems/issues will I come across when installing my monitors.

I like these monitors but I don't know if they will fit. It seems they might.
Overall dimensions - 4.3 x 1.1 x 6.3

I saw these at walmart.com and thought they would fit perfect.
Overall Dimensions - 4.5 x 0.75 x 6.25

Any help would be great. Please recommend some monitors that will fit in this price range.

ya i would stick w/ ebay thats the cheapist way togo im about to put some in my 3 5 door and im gonna get them off ebay

icontv or alpine makes the best quality screens

save up the extra money instead of buying junk (well thats what i would do.. everyone is different tho) it will be worth it

I am well sided with SP33D on this one. The cheap screens are often not intended for car audio and not resiliant to the vibrations or climate changes. Keep in mind the pot holes you'll hit and that the interior of a car can be anythign form 150 degrees to negative 10 depending on where you live. Also keep in mind the ov axis viewing of the screen. In other wordes, some of the cheaper ones have the problem that if you aren't looking directly at them at a 90 degree angle, you don't see s***. Ofcoarse the better ones look better aswell and will be more resilant to ambiant light a glare.

There is no sense in buying a screen whithout a warrenty as there are simply to many things that can go wrong with them. Even right out of the box.

^^ amen... good headrest with warrenty can be had for 200-225 each. I have fairenhight tvs in my headrests that im looking to sell mounted.
