headphones?

im looking to buy some new headphones for ultimate music pleasure, but i dont want to spend like $400 and have to have a headphone amp. anyone know some 'phones i can get under $100 that would give good sound and and not fall apart?

I paid $119 for mine, but they go for around $80-$90 now. Closed ear design, they sound great IMO

i ordered some grado sr-60's for $69 with free shipping
i love the old school 50's styling and theyre open air design is supposed to make for some awesome sound. i will mainly be using them at home where its quiet so they should be good

Grado's, definitly. If you can't afford Sennheiser's, at least. I have a set of Sennheiser HD455's, and they're WONDERFUL. I almost bought a set of Grado's this last year (SR80's), but I opted to stick with the Sennheiser's and order a new head strap for them, instead.

yeah i chose the sr60s because they are supposed to be AMAZING sound for the price and they dont need an amp to sound awesome

i really like their old school american look, made in brooklyn
