Headlight upgrade advice

Never mind just place the order for the TRS kit with the upgraded XB 35 bulbs since I found a free shipping coupon online . Went with the 5000

You don't need to swap out your headlight assembly, you already have projection headlights. Don't know about the XB bulbs but I've seen the regular 35W 5000K in real life and they look excellent. Very white light, I mean OEM is 4300 and these are very close. Free shipping too? nice. Like I said when I get around to it I'm getting the same for my 6 as I have the Touring in that one but for the CX-5 I picked up the Tech package mainly for the factory HID and they really are worth it. Good luck man, post pics after the install! our cars have excellent cutoffs in the projectors so no need to worry about blinding oncoming traffic either.

See I had them on my 3 and do miss the HID more than the adaptive portion so I think this will real help me get over not opting for the tech package if they work as well as I am hoping. I feel stupid I was mislead and didn't better research the car first but since I thought they were standard like on my grand touring 3 I asked for no tech package like I did then too. The sales guy tried to correct me when I actually went to sign the papers and told me it was just HID and the adaptive was moved to the tech package I thought hell I can live with that but am really regretting it now.

That's why I want this so bad to help me get over the regret really. I'm sure I'll still regret missing some of the other features but once the remote start my fiance for me is installed along with the door sills I'll be Ok. I'll probably add the auto dim mirror later on if I can find it cheap enough to be worth it. May order the corksport led kit and new bulbs for the fog lights too. I would like to tint the taillights at some point too all stuff that can be easily reversed and put back stock in case I chose not to keep it end of lease.

But I really love it and think I would buy it out which is what really is making me regret not getting the tech package now. Sorry for the rant lol

Lets try that agin. nXt, the reason that YOU yourself don't see a difference is because you don't know what you are looking at. TRS stuff is very near OEM quality and far surpasses DDMs Chinese junk.

You will be very happy with the XB35 bulbs. They just re-released them after a thorough redesign for improvements. They are aimed to be a great improvement over the regular Morimoto bulbs. I wish I had the cash right now to dump my DDMs and get the Morimotos but funds are limited, which is the only reason I got DDMs in the first place.
