Headlight problems

I have been having a problem with my headlights recently. They keep burning out. In the past four months I have gone through 8 or 9 bulbs. The last time I replaced both and they barely lasted a tank of gas. I think that it may be the alternator but can any one confirm that it is the alternator or some other problem?

i had same problem with my pro5 repalced the h7 sockets never had another problem

I solved my problem by installing the DDM Tuning Raptor 35W HID kit in both low beams and fog lights. They're cheap, about the same price as Sylvania Silverstars
