has anybody bought and installed the halo's? I saw them advertised on EBay and was thinking about getting some but wasn't sure about the install process. Any thoughts?(flame)

also, i know AuxOne has angel eyes installed on his 3 (these are the same thing as halos right?). Ive seen them in person and are very nice. From what I hear, they were easy to install as well

(first) oh that is such hawtness. Please tell me where you got those and post some comments on installation. I want those ASAP!

xenonexpert.com Lifetime warranty on them.

-Pull bumper off
-Pull headlights out
-Remove rubber pieces and metal pieces on headlights. remove bulbs. Few mosture hose things, and screws.
-Bake headlight 250 degrees for 10 mins
-Pull the clear plastic away from the black plastic, you have to work quick, but not fast. Pull firm but not too hard to break anything. Dont touch the glue, its hot and sticky, plus its a b**** to get off the lens. There are little clips (lack of better word for them) but all you need to do is slightly bend them up and use a flathead screwdriver to help separate the lens from housing on the first few, then you can pull the rest by hand.
-Test Halo on batter to make sure it works.
-I drilled a small hole in the housing for the wires for the halo's, figure out what halo goes where.
-I used an epoxy in conjuntion with the double sided 3M tape that came with the halo's so they will not move.

For wiring you have a few choices. Easiest is wiring it to your parking lights, but for the halo's to be on, you must have the parking lights on.

You can always wire them to an ACC or IGN wire so that when you turn your car on the halos come on too.

Mine are wired to my headunit\amp relay, since I had already ran a relay for amps and the headunit itself.

Adding a relay isnt a bad idea, BUT the halo's draw less than 1amp of current.

Its not hard to do, just make sure you line everything up perfectly and let it dry completely before putting the housing back together, baking, then pushing the lens back onto the housing.

Halos FTW
