Headlight and Hood Shock Question

Are all the mazda3/speed3 headlights all the same in all year models? Just wanted to know before buying some used ones to play with.

Also, the redline hood shocks, what the the FUNCTION differences between to the 2 models offered by Redline?

according to this they might not be. but these are based on the entire assembly, and the xenons have the leveling motors with them

as far as the shape of the headlight i thinkthey are the same for the hatch, sedan, and speed. just a guess though

for some reason, i think they are smaller on the sedan, but cant be sure

I do not believe there is any functional difference between the models Redline produces.

Sedan and Hatch headlights are slightly different shape - they are not interchangeable as far as mounting is concerned. The insides are the same though for the halogen and HID setups, respectively.

Basically better hardware and powdercoated brackets. Plus two extra years on the warranty.

i keep reading the hood shocks differences but can't tell if it's worth paying the extra dough for the elite. does anyone here have the basic one or the elite one? how do you like it?

the headlights on a sedan looks smaller to me than the hatch. i parked next to this lady with a sedan scoping out her lights and when she came out of walmart she sees me leaning over face to face staring at her lights lol

I have the Elites and I love 'em. Great customer service from Redline, as well. As for the headlights, it doesn't make sense to have a lot of different parts for the same model year.
