Header question

Hi, i was going to install some headers on my P5. I'm wondering what to do with the O2 sensors. I want to install a custom 2 1/2 exhaust system so how do you do it without a catalytic converter since your check engine light will be on without it?

You can do the non fouler fix for the 02 sensors and install a header back exhaust while elimating the second cat. The first cat is eliminated by the header.
