Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone out there has found any company that makes headers for the 2.0L Mazda 3. I have been trying to find one for some time now, and have yet to find any. If anyone can help, I would appreaciate it alot.

That's my three on the page. :)
All i have to say about Draxas is that they make top notch products, and have great customer service.

I wonder if they will have a o2 simulators for it (scratch)

I think they said once they get a header installed, they will be able to let people know the O2 sensor mounting options.

I am no gearhead, but I believe they mentioned, on another board, that all it would take is a spacer to remount the oem one.

But I am not sure of the isnstallation process of headers, so I may be misinterpreting what I read and/or what they meant.

I was thinking since we have a built in cat in our exhaust manifolds or headers (not checked) that they are taking the cat out... Since our stock headers have one o2 sensor before and one after, the second one after the cat will cause the CEL to come on.

Like on my is300, when i purchased toyo headers they gave me o2 sims to bypass the CEL. However on my Prelude, i just did a straight pipe(ricer) and CEL was on all the time. Only way to turn off is reseting the ECU.

Just an update for people who don't want to go to other forums. There are two ways they will take care of the o2 sensor problem.
1. Like mentioned above, put a spacer between so the o2 sensor sits little back and reads less.
2. Put a resistor in the o2 sensor signal wire to mislead your ecu to think everything is fine.

Either way they will supply with all the stuff and the installation will be smooth as BUTTER!

My headers should be here today. Ill post a pic.

Let me know how easy the removal of the heat shield thing is??

You lucky bastard!!!!
(bang) DAM THOSE RIMS AND SPRING

Found a header through OBX, so im going to try to get that, and my exhaust done this weekend. hopefully i can.

Here's a part of Draxas' recent response to my Q re: 2.0 headers:

I do believe that our header will fit the 2.0L Mazda3. We have succesfully fit our header designed on the 2.3L Focus onto the 2.0L version of the Focus.

We will need to find a SoCal Mazda3 2.0L owner willing to be used as a donor car, before we can commit to selling the header. We just need to make sure the header fits and operates as it should.

Header Just arrived
