hehe, I doubt they're very quick to give out specs on their race heads to some fartknocker that calls em up out of the blue.

I would hope not, although that info would not tell us how they did it...Would be cool to know just to compare...

cool, thanks james. i assume "flowbench" is the brand or something of it?

I'll have to find what brand my head shop uses and see if it's the same...if it is well that's easy, if not i'll have to try and find what the difference between the two are...like the "flowbench" might give 10% higher numbers than xxx machine etc...

getting all the info today (fiancee is picking the head up for me later today)...will post info as soon as i get it

i just have to add, it is rather concerning that so many shops that make turbo's etc for our car dont know how the head flows...

well i've found out what flow machine the place that did my head work uses :

Superflow AirFlow bench 600

no idea how good that is or anything, but that's what they use

and an update on my head - not getting it until monday. mazda :mad: sent the head place all the gaskets i need, but the vavle stem seals were the wrong ones :mad: :mad: :mad:
