have any weightlifters/fitness people/bodybuilders tried these...

Im a pretty avid weightlifter and that seems like a waste of money. A glorified strap that advocates strength gains . . . I dont use gloves or straps but if you feel like using something I would say try some straps. The site you listed stated something about "sore hands," ive never had sore hands so im not too sure what thats about. Basically don't waste your money. Go buy yourself some gloves or straps for 10 or 15 bucks. As Thaikim stated, unless your lifting some SERIOUS weight like maybe big deadlifts or shrugs then you really dont need anything.

I use gloves now... they have pretty much had it after using them for years... it's time for a new pair...

I saw these and some good reviews about them, and wanted other opinions...

I do deadlifts and shrugs and I do heavy enough weight that I need something... it's not like jay cutler or whoever weight, but it's heavy to me...

thanks for the advice... keep it coming...

They are only 25 bucks so if you like using gloves I would say go for it. A good pair of lifting gloves will probably run you at least 15 bucks anyway. I didnt see the price before i posted my previous comment and didn't want you to get ripped off. Im just not a fan of these types of websites.

yeah.. I'm not a fan of websites like that either which is why I wanted to see if anyone else out there has/had tried them...

thanks again...

Use wrist wraps.... I got some from http://www.larryscott.com/bio/index.cfm acouple years ago. Not sure if they still make them. Rule of thumb... only use wraps when going REAL HEAVY. If you use them all the time.... you'll find your grip weakening. (UNLESS YOUR MARRIED) ROFL Really works well on back... you loose alot of strength on back with your grip.

i agree i don't use gloves but when i do deadlifts and shrugs i use straps really helps with the grip. . . also on 1 or 2 back exercises i use straps. don't worry about callousus your gonna get those anyway from workin on the car lol
