hey guys, i'm in the market for a set of wheels for the summer.
i have no problem driving to pick them up in the nearby area.
looking for something under 500 and not white. preferably 17's and as long as they fit idc... ill go wide.
I don't have tires yet so that's all good.

either that or i'm going to buy some new...but cant make up my mind...this is kind of what i'm looking into help me pick!!!

as far as wheels go check out nl motoring, they have a very wide variety for right around the 500 dollar range in 17's, do like a 17x7 for an easy fit.
also nl sells some of there wheels on ebay for like -100 a set and still comes straight from nl. i got a brand new set of 16x8 xxr 002's for 360 shipped

I'm rolling in with my crew from the island. We usually park on the side with the trees. So I should be around there if you want to have your guys park nearby or across! Usually parking gets a little crazy. Haha.

Yeah Brian. No worries. It looks good! And with your build and precise calculations I can understand the desire for the carbon fiber, it's super light! I still fling my hood open because I'm not used to it! lol

So in other news. The install meet went great.

Installed a RMM on my friends speed3. Installed yellow fogs and laminex on my other friends genpu speed3.

Got mark's (my boyfriend) coilovers seated correctly this time on the miata, he still has a mysterious exhaust leak on the miata and it smells like pasta after driving for a bit (yum). His calipers and rotors and brake pads are replaced so that's good.

Installed my painted valve cover. Easiest thing ever! Glad I did it too my gasket was messed up in some spots.

No luck in hooking oil temp gauge up. Bought wrong gauge male and female quick connects >.<

However! I'm pretty sure this pipe should NOT look like this...

I don't know the name of the pipe so help me out guys...

Nut and bolts and tension springs are all rusted too...

Suggestions? What is this pipe? It's only this pipe that's rusted too. Right under my engine bay before the pipe before my axelback....so before my cat?

Also got a wink mirror for free and picking up a friends old set of g-games for $150 for 5 wheels! Hes moving to Vegas so I make out like a bandit. Granted they've got some curb rash but whatevs!!!

Now I need tires...D;

The first half (front of the car) is the J-pipe. If you get an aftermarket header, that is part of what gets replaced...

Picking up my new (to me) set of wheels after I grab a bite to eat. Now for tires...

GOT EM! 5 17x7 Gunmetal Rays Wolf G-Games with center caps for $150 (valued at $1500+ new).
Plus scored a full custom made black and red leather seat cover set for $50 (valued at $800 new).
He even threw in extra black leather for the door trim if I want to go all out. And some silver touch up paint lulz.
Pics to come tomorrow...provided I can figure out how to install the covers.

What a steal...I'm so excited!

yeah me too. any tire suggestions?
I'm going to call a few shops tomorrow and see what it will cost to get the rims all fixed up (because there is a small amount of curbage).
But I'm not all that worried about it.
