hat1018's build thread

Im lowered with 215 45 17. i am rolling the.fenders as we speak haha.
i kinda wished i put on 205 40 17 since the car sits almost at stock hight but with zero fender gap.
hopefully rolling the.fenders gets all of the rubbing issues fixed

If your serious about a cold air intake and plan to stay n/a. I'm currently giving a 3" aem bypass valve away to one lucky winner.
Check out the teampro5 section for the giveaway thread.

Very happy! Thanks for all of your hard work on the car and also taking and posting the pics. Thanks to Evan as well. The header made absolutly no sound difference. Power, who knows? The headlights came out amazing. The short throw shifter is cool too. Rear license plate being solid now kicks much ass. I want to work on that lip next weekend, shouldn't be too tough. I also want to repaint the hatch spoiler and lower rear valance satin black sometime soon. Plus install the tire and wheel combo. Maybe the wheels will grow on me when they are all on.

Ok here is an update. I installed my wheel and tire set. I like it more and more. I have had more positive than negative comments on the look, haha. Painted the rear spoiler satin black and I like that as well. My plan now is to paint my valve cover, cold air intake, strut bar, and emblems white. I figure with the white wheels I will have a more cohesive looking ride. I will see what I can do to get some more pictures in this thread. Since I am a tech retard I will have to get some help with that. lulz.

^^^ Me too. I think the white wheels and accents will look really sharp. :)

Well, I got my strut bar sprayed white and re-installed and I like it. All the emblems with the exception of the Pro5 emblem (needs to be masked off between the letters) are white. Only the flying M on the hatch is reinstalled, the others need new plastic gizmos to hold them in and or new attatchment tape. Thanks for the positive comments on the white wheels guys, I dig em.

i have pics of when i had m2 springs on my car

Had them on your car? Why did you take them off? How was the ride? The drop? Feel free to post pics of your car, I would like to have some info available for members that might do a search to gather info.

I can't remember who it was, but way back in the before time, one of the active members on here had white wheels / accents on his midnight blue. Looked awesome.

Its pretty harsh and they blew my struts in two months but they're crappy kyb struts i plan on getting coilovers soon so irdc. IMO just save for a set of coil overs do it once and be done with it

I would like coilovers for the height adjustability, I really don't want the harsh ride that comes along with them.

I even told Larry, "I better take pics so Josh doesn't b****..." lulz.

I really dig the white accents, Larry. What about white with blue strips for the hood?

And the little Zoom-Zoom'er. :)
