L lilpoindexter Member : 99 prot 95 miata May 1, 2010 #2 I didn't, but I wish I had. I reused the old rubber seats when i put lowering springs on my car. The new springs rubbed through the old rubber so the metal spring seat was touching the metal spring, and squeaking like crazy on bumps.
