Has anyone used Mazda's IPOD integration Kit?

Wondering if anyone has used the IPOD integration kit available on Protege Garage? Pro's/Con's? I'm overdue on this mod.....considering GROM unit as well.

I purchased it from protegegarage. It plugs up just fine and rests in the glove box. However, sound quality isn't great. I wouldn't spend $130 on it ever again!

When you say "not that great" what do you mean? Is there a lot of noise/distortion?
