Hardwiring XM

I have an XM radio in my '07 mazda 6 and want to install the Delphi XM FM Direct Accessory but the installation instruction are VERY vague. It comes with connectors that go into the Radio, the Antenna and a power socket that wires directly into the cars power. I have no idea how to install any of these! Any help would be appreciated... thanks!

See attached pdf for the pinouts of the wires at the back of the radio. These will give you all you need to splice the Xm's wires in. These are for the Bose I believe.

on the mazdaspeed, you pull up the center console trim, unscrew the two screws at the bottom of the media trim, and them the whole trim peice pops out with the radio attached. Not sure if this is the same on a 6.

The antenna wire is the bigger black wire at the back of the radio unit. I beleive there is only one antenna lead. Some cars have a glass antenna and a traditional antenna (our roof antenna), but I think the singals are read by the same jack at the back of the radio.

Mazda 6 radio has two hidden screws that everyone seems to forget about. There are two screws behind the climate control knobs. If you need dissassembly instructions. Go to www.metraonline.com Look up the Kit for the mazda 6 And click on the product info. It will open up a PDF that gives complete removal instructions.

or go to your local Best Buy, and let them install it for you.
