Not entirely true: Essential Speed's stuff is designed as a 2 stage system - so the hardpipes you get will work with the stock IC, then if you replace the stock IC with their FMIC the inlet and outlet match up perfectly with the new section of hardpipe for the NEW IC. Designed that way on purpose for those of use who are cash challenged. My hardpipes go on tomorrow (happen to have a flange for a turbosmart, but since they're true custom pipes I think he can put on whatever flange you want. I believe also that ION just says to leave the old IC installed and just hang a new one down below - while ES is designed to have the old one removed so the same positioning for in and out can be used. AT least that's my understanding and why I went with ES.
