Hard wear on edge of tire

Apologies if there isn’t a better place to post this - I have a few threads already on the go for other issues

Just noticed after an oil change and tire rotation that my front tires are super worn on the inside edge - my dad told me to take it in for a front alignment asap but I keep reading it could be much more than that. The car tracks straight and the rear tires are wearing evenly. Do I need a full alignment instead? Really not sure if this tire needs to be replaced immediately either. Bought it at 86kms and just did oil and rotate at 94kms. It’s a 2016 AWD

Camber is not adjustable, so as a non-expert in alignment, how would they fix this?

Have the alignment checked. If both wheels are toed out the same amount it will track straight.

I’ve got to think that much toe-out to cause that wear pattern would make the steering ungodly sluggish.

The tire doesn't look unsafe to drive on it or anything. A depth gauge would show how much wear the tire has on each edge, for comparison.

The correct answer is alignment and suspension inspection. I'm a bit confused by what you wrote as to front vs. back tires. Is the location you noted before or after rotation? Were the tires evenly worn when you bought it, or do you remember? Consider that a nine year old car may have had the tires switched out from another car prior to sale.
