Hard crank, won't continue running

Hi, new here. 2012 150K Mazda5. Ran great in December when parked for winter. Very hard to crank now. Replaced starter with no improvement. I found a rubber part lying on the-under cover near the oil filter - it looks like part of a mount. I replaced the starter from the top so have not taken that cover off yet and can't see up from below (the car is parked on a block of ice). I did start it in January, and spun the tires trying to move it. Thanks in advance for any thoughts. Gary

The rubber piece appears to be packaging from the belt tensioner replacement last year. My bad. The engine fires but no acceleration until stall.

Not a solution but any car that's been parked, consider a critter is involved... nest in the intake or exhaust. If you can share a clip video or sound that might help us help you.
