Tomorrow is the 16th anniversary of my wedding to my wonderful wife, Jean. And yesterday, I come down with this brutal sinus infection. Our original scheduled Dinner plans for the evening may have to be re-scheduled. I am not happy about that. But; things could be worse. May just chill at the house, watch a movie, and eat dinner in.

Other than that, my turbocharger is enjoying our 'new' cooler weather. Hopefully; it will stay this way as fall approaches.

I wish all of you a fun and safe weekend!! :p

Congrats Greg!

It's sure nice to see another couple who are in it for the long run. (drinks)
I hope your sinuses heal up quickly and you two have a great night. :)

Congratulations on the anniversary! I couldn't be happier it's friday. I'm looking forward to a nice weekend of football and a round of golf. Since your sick and it's your anniversary you should look forward to some good loving, back rubs, and take in some motorsports to get better. That's the recipe for good health;)

congrats greg.. and yeah, you might want to wait to go out to eat for when you can actually taste stuff again.. :)

Congratulations! I'm sure there is nothing (not even a sinus infection) that can spoil such a special moment for the two of you. :D

Brook!!! That band was great! I just found that CD a few weeks ago: "A-HA" They are from Norway. Man! I remember when they came out in (1985?) with "The Sun Always Shines on TV" & "Take Me On". I had the cassette, and used to play the hell out of it in my car. It's a really good disc. They did one or two after that, I think.

Kick Ass!!!

Yep, that's was my goal.. I love the take on me video, so I wanted a sig of my car that looked like the animation they used.. haha. :D

Giddy Up!!!! And; I will mention another band from that time that I was lucky to see in an outdoor concert here in Memphis. "A Flock Of Seagulls" Killer live band!! Seriously!

No. But; it is interesting to note that Michael Score (lead Singer) owned a beauty salon in London.

wow this is a unique thread. happy friday to the all of you! congrats AGR, thats good to hear, and i wish you two many more years to come. as far as those great eighties bands you are mentioning, it just makes me think of this awesome concert a local Los Angeles alternative rock station is putting on coming up here in LA, which i will unfortunately not be attending due to financial situation and work and all. its call the inland invasion tour and it features, are you really ready!?!?! If you love the 80's you should be sitting down before you continue...:
The Cure, Duran Duran, Violent Femmes, Echo and the Bunnymen, Dashboard Confessional, Psychedelic Furs, Hot Hot Heat, Bow Wow Wow, Interpol, Kings of Leon, Jet, General Public, Fountains of Wayne, Soft Cell, Berlin, Dramarama
is that not just the best lineup of bands there ever could be???
