Just wanted to convey my feelings about my dealership, specifically the service department. I know that there are others who are having serious troubles with their 3, and in some cases with their dealerships...but my experience at Hancock Mazda has been nothing short of total customer service. I traded in a 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5 with 19,000 miles on it because 1) The car had ISSUES, and 2) My Nissan dealership did nothing but exacerbate them with incompetence and a bad attitude towards customer service.
I took my 3 in to get some things checked out yesterday, and for the first time in years, I left a vehicle service department with a smile on my face and a feeling of confidence that my car was going to be taken care of. I have a 'groaning' noise coming from my steering, and an irritating rattle in my glove compartment...nothing major, but things that would have been a FIGHT at Nissan. My service advisor ordered an entirely new glove compartment, and new strut bushings for both the right AND left side, even though I'm only getting noise from the right side. Now THATS what I'm talking about. I was actually speechless when he told me their plans, I guess because I'm used to excuses, arguments and an outright uncaring attitude from service personnel. Thank you, Hancock for reviving my confidence in the auto service industry.
