I was very dissapointed with the single player gameplay. It took a little less than 8 hours playing it on normal and watching all the cinematics. It is a little more realistic though. Now a guy running up to you with a shotgun can't get picked off by a pistol before he gets within shooting distance.
Oh and the ending blows for the campaign...

Yeah, disappointed with single player...but Halo 2 multiplayer is perfect for the college student.....SWEET!!

Just finished it myself 5 mins ago.

I hated the ending. All along I wanted the battles to head back to earth...and then....

I enjoyed the game overall but they did to this game like most companies are doing lately. They are concentrating too much on the multiplayer aspect, and not enough on single player. Some of us are bored with death match this, capture the flag that, etc.

So I'm done with it now. I'll never touch it again unless someone comes over and do the co-op thing. Off I go to play NFSU2 for PC or the new Medal of honor, , and by the end of the week, Half life 2. That's the game I am really wanting to play.

never even played Halo1, never plan on buying a xbox. Rather play my atari2600

but you can play a2600 on the xbox, +gba, +ps1, +snes, +++so many others

i haven't picked it up yet, got pissed on the french one when i ran into the flood again.
oh so many bad memories coming back to haunt me.


yeah Kaptain, when is perfect dark coming out, did they give up on it, that's some real multiplayer action. not that Xlive isn't fun, i just get banned too often

knowing Rare, they'll plan on a 2005 release and you'll see it in 2007 after several delays j/k, but since Microsoft bought Rare they haven't said a peep about a Perfect Dark sequel.

i agree, the disappointments was having the flood again(which i thought they will take out of the game)
and that we didn't play enough on earth.

however, the weapons overall are much better than the first game

multiplayer by far is very good, A++++++

If you like multiplayer buy it. If your into single player....rent it.

On another note, the game sold $125 million worth the 1st day. That's more then any movie or game EVAR. not bad for the 1st day.

Well, I guess when you have had a PC all your life, all this Halo crap has been done before. It's nothing new to PC owners. I don't know just how many times someone can have fun killing the same people over and over and over and over...... year after year, game after game. Same old s*** to me.

First of all, i just played 6.5 hrs of multiplayer and didnt get bored once!
2nd, i heard perfect dark: Zero is going to launch with xbox 2..... i dont know if thatl happen with rare making the game

I don't know. Multiplayer is better this time around I think. More levels, bigger levels, a variety of games. Territory rules
And since the weapons are more even, games last longer.
I will never touch single player again on halo2

It's a good game, it's just not the super dooper, god's gift to gamers that some make it to be.

And while playing it, I just can't figure out why it took them so long to make this thing. I mean there are better pc games, that are longer, more detailed and so on that took less time and they have to consider various types of hardware

Also, there is no way in hell a console game should just end like that. it would be different if there was a mission pack coming out in 6 months, but when a game takes 3 years for every sequel to come out??? hello, end the story a bit better please. I'll forget wtf I just did by the time halo 3 comes out, and I might not even care about how it ends in 3 years time. Typical money grabbing technique, and Bungi has been a loya MS company, and typical one at that since they stopped making all this for the pc 1st.

I got it first day....played for about two hours ith a buddy in Campaign....not one bit impressed for the wait...good game,but just not great....I have played a little multi-player but have yet to link...I owned all at multiplayer before ,I am just feeling the hype of this one...I may just have to get Xlive to see what that little world is all about.

I give it a B- SO FAR....I will be linking them up tonight to try for some new found fun.
