H22 & B16...

testy tesy....We are just talking facts, someone in an early post comment that they can't hold up to an MSP....we are just speaking the honda side of things....:)

yea i know, but someone also called BS.i know honda's are quik and capable of alot more then a stock MSP,it just didnt happen that night, the shop i go too works with 95% honda engines, the other 5% is DSM's.

You "flashed your hazards"?

Oh, dear Lord...

yup, they were trying to run up on me like they were all hard and s***, i didnt flash em and leave em on, i just tapped the hazard button and let it go.

any other questions?

thats cool , nice kills actually i believe you sometimes you beat cars that capable to beat you but guess what? you win and thats the matter so be cool .

Good luck on the first turn. Personally I prefer balance over brute power.

Why not have both? My homie has a 5.0 mustang that runs low 12's and he can kill EVO's, WRX's, me in the MSP, and C5 vettes all day on the backroads.

***threadjack***
yay, that's the most ghetto fabolous sig i've ever seen.

I dont think its such a shock that he won. My buddys H22 Prelude, with CAI, Header, and Exhaust ran a 15.1. And with a 75 shot like a 14.3. And dont say its driving cause hes a fantastic driver. You see, yes, they have high horsepower, but the torque of a lawn mower. Last night I drove my friends 04 RSX type S Aspec, with intake, header, and exhaust, yea, it was quick, but I think VTEC is kinda overrated. By the way, im not bashing Honda, I lover them. But this is just what I think.

OK, yea then he must suck at driving because my friends with h22 swaps (USDM) in a th gen (90-93 Accords) run mid 14's. My accord stock ran low 16's

Of course we are talking highway here. There are plenty of cars that I've kept up with or beaten on the highway (i.e. lightly modded wrx) that would've killed me in a drag race.

How are the Honda guys ricers? Have you ever swapped a motor? An H22 is somewhat tricky to put in an accord and the B16 is not too difficult but they swapped motors, all I'm assuming you do is write checks for your car payment. Hmm, keeping within a car lenth of a turbo car with a car with a stock HONDA motor? Hmm, seemed good to me.

Ok there is a big difference between a usdm and a jdm prelude engine. First of the ecu's are different....but its more then that. The jdm is good for 10 more hoarses then usdm. If swapped into an 90-93 accord it will pull much better times then 15.1 seeing as how a 91 accord is lighter then a prelude. I had a jdm h22 in my accord and I was running low 14's 14.2 to be exact. I did have all of the supporting mods though, I had headers, cai, cat delete, cat back exhaust, 8.5 lb fly wheel, act street disk in an extreme pressure plate, and pulleys.

So why did you get rid of that car? Or do you still have it?

I pulled on a Celica GTS on the freeway one lovely evening. That was kinda fun looking at his headlights in my rearview. I didn't flash my hazards though. He followed me to where i was going. We talked for awhile. Nice guy and he had a lot of respect for my car. Got my ass whooped by a 95 talon tsi, t3/t4 turbo @ 13 psi. Other than that nobody else messes with me. Oh yeah some idiot in a prelude with the 2.3 engine. I smoked him on the freeway and then he followed me and rear ended someone in the other lane while pulling up to a stop light after the freeway exit cuz he staring at my car. Very dumb. Oh yeah and a MX-6 V6 also had fun looking at my taillights on the freeway. He also followed me off the freeway. A couple turns later we were side by side at a stop light. I gave him a car length and blew past at about 45 mph. Those are my kills and one death so far.

Talons can sometimes be beasts man, they just dont seem like theyd be able to pull that hard but with a lil extra boost and rwd those things arent to be taken lightly.
