H&R Spring opinion need..

After going thru numerous threads about H&R springs, it seems alot of people on this board dislike the drop height of H&R springs. However, that isn't the case for me and I find the drop height is perfect. Thus, before I make my final decision, I like to hear some current owner of H&R Sport spring's opinions on the ride quality, handling (they handle great as I've read), any problem with it (noise)? Mainly I'm looking for is the ride quality, I'm trying to find a set of springs that can give me as close as to stock, yet good looking drop. (I'm not interested in dropping my car more than 1.5' hence I'll have autoexe body kit on <-- I HOPE SO RISHIE!!)

Thanks~~ much appreciated for all the replies!

P.S. I've PMed some people, please post here as for future reference? Thanks lah~ ^_^

*EDIT* Oops! Mod, please move this thread to Suspension section please? Thanks~!

I love the drop. The ride is rough but I like it. The car handles awesome. The only thing that I don't like is that they are starting to get pretty rusty. I've had them for just less than a year. I suppose you get what you pay for. Personally I'd spend a little more and get some higher quality springs. I'll probably end up getting some new ones within a year or so. Here is a picture of what my car looks like with the H&R's:

They suck. You should sell them to whoever offers to buy them.

Especially eggynatey ;)

A buck two fifty and their yours. J/K. I'll probably wait til next year to replace them. For the money they're really not that bad but I wish I would've spent the extra money for some nicer ones.

Hey garnetred,
Are you talking about JICs or Tein coilovers? I'm asking because H&Rs are within 30 bucks or so of most springs that I've found for the Pro(Eibach, Tein, Spool, etc.)
If you ARE thinking JIC, I agree all the way! $1600 is a lot to spend for me, though. What springs are you considering? Thanks.

That Mullet's making me nervous(nervous)

I just dropped 3G's on my turbo. The JIC's or Tein's are out of the question for now. That only leaves me with: Eibach, Ground Control coilovers or Progress springs. Eibach is very good quality in my opinion but they don't drop the car as much. I really don't want coilovers and I've never seen one with the Progress springs. I'm really not quite sure. I've got a pretty good hookup for all of these types of springs which is why I went with the H&R's. I got a realy good deal on them.;) I'm going to give the H&R's some time before I decide to switch brands. We'll see.

When you live in Wisconsin you have to take the mullet like a grain of salt. They don't call it the Wisconsin waterfall for nothing!
