I'm considering getting the nextmod replica style front lip but I've heard mixed reviews. How has the fit been on peoples cars. I've heard that some people have had trouble and have had it molded to the car. I'm not looking to do tons of body work. Also If there is any pics that would be great

I bought and installed a nextmod DAMD style on my 3 hatchback and the fit was not great. I installed it and then used silicon between the lip and car to fill the gaps. Actually doesnt look that bad but could be better. E-mail me for pics. mwheue02@comcast.net

My car is black so the silicone matched!

I am one of the first people who decided to get the Nextmod GV lip molded into the front bumper because of poor fitment on its own. I don't regret it... still looks perfect and is holding up great for two years and counting. Although it was not exactly cheap...

Mine took lots of work but the fit is great now, but mine was for a 2004 model.

it looks good. Mine is an 04 aswell Did you have yours molded. I'm not to worried about paying to have it molded my brother works at a body shop so he can do it cheap.

nope mine isn't molded, I take it off In The Winter.

The only places that really had lost of work were the sides. The front part was just a bit rough, but i took care of that whith some sand paper.

laserblue are your pics photoshopped with the m badge gone or is that a diff grill... if so where'd you get it...

Nope no photoshop here, I bought my grill off ebay. I'de have to check and see if the company that made it still exist today. It's made of fiberglass and was very easy to install. The only problem with it, is that you can't open your hood by grabbing this pieces or it will snap right out(i've learned this the hard way)

gotcha.... i kinda like the mesh grill... seen a few cheap ones on ebay but not exactly sure bout the fit. i've seen a thread about it but just don't remember where it was.
