............but alas I need a HUGE HDTV and I have to keep 5 computers game worthy so the guitar budget is thin. :(
You need to reorder your priorities. Especially for your son. What's a better example? Daddy does something creative for fun, or Daddy sits on his ass watching a big TV like a lump. Since my son was born, I've bought more instruments. I want them around when he gets bored and is looking for something to do.

wow, don't see DeArmonds very often. That one kinda reminds me of the Gretsch I always wanted.
Yeah, that guitar is heavy as s***. I weighed it one day when I was bored.....18.5 lbs!!! I used to break guitar straps right and left, seriously, every time the band practiced I broke one. I finally got one that was able to hold it though.....haha

holy s***! that's ridiculous -- how would you ever play a gig with that thing?
meh, it was hard, I guess it just made me strong over time! haha, no, but it definately was hard. My shoulder would always be sore after we were done, but the PRS is a feather compared to that thing

here is a better picture of the prs from this last friday

whoa, what a horrible location for that volume knob.
no kidding. it didnt turn down on me as much at that show, but it still did. Not only bad location, but hardly any resistance in the knob too!

if you can measure the resistance of the volume pot, i'll see if i have an extra thatll work -- i wouldnt need any money either, i have a ton of them.

Thanks man, I will try to do that tonight if I can. I will let you know

edit- is it possible to just find out online? like on PRS website?

probably not, usually manufacturers don't give those kind of specs.\

measure resistance at full volume, 3/4, half, and 1/4.

i'll also send you some scissors, so you can cut your hair. (rlaugh)

jk, i lessthanthree you.
haha, yeah, I need to cut it. I catch a lot of s*** about it....i havent cut it since december '04! that picture it actually looks kinda shortish.....its about 9 or 10 inches at least. I am strongly considering cutting it this weekend......this picture is at least a month or so old.....i took that picture because, believe it or not, there is a tattoo in there somewhere....

Ah, I have three daughters :) 18,13 and 5.
We love to play video games, and they learn all about networking, desktop support, and how to spec/build and repair computer systems.
I make a good living working in IT so the guitars have taken a backseat.
Allthough my first daughter did come around when I was 17 so she saw plenty of my Metal Years. Oh and I am not fat we all have mountain bikes which we ride in our private 3600 acre Golf community. It provides us the opportunity to bike all alone and watch the wildlife. :) It is located at the start of the Texas Hill Country. www.ddresorts.com http://www.theretreat-texas.com
Some kids love music some don't. Mine don't but we will be getting a free piano so who knows maybe one of them will like that. You can't really pick what you kids like. You can try to make them like something but it usually ends up going horribly wrong and blowing up in your face.
I also have a killer 17'' laptop, that I got for free :P
Cheers...(cheers)

Yes, I would like more GUITARS!
