Guess I'm playing guinea pig with coilovers..

well its been a few weeks -- hows it still doing ---

what do you think about the ride with these compared to stock??

i might still get these but need money first --- :)

Still great. Bumpy, but great. Handles so smooth.. The car's suspension really isn't its limiting factor anymore.. now it's the power.. I can take corners much faster than I used to be able to (or should) full on the throttle, and it just grips. I know that has to do with the tires though too.

oh and just a fyi.. i don't hear noises from it anymore. i don't know if i've just gotten used to it so i block it out and don't notice it, or if they went away. i'll have to let you guys know tomorrow when i go back out.

Hmm -- i hate when the word Bumpy comes up when referring to ride quality :(

do the helper springs help the ride or do they cause the bumpy ---

They help. Any time you lower your car man it's gonna be bumpier. Springs or coilovers. It's just a fact of life unless you get some of those "comfort" springs that have lower rates.

As for coilovers, I'd say these aren't bad. Probably not as harsh as Tein or JIC, but they DO make it handle and feel kinda like a go-kart with limited suspension.

And by bumpy I mean, if you go over a big bump, you'll definitely feel it. Small bumps don't do much though, and highway driving and the like..

(cool) nice man, sorry to hear about all your set backs but it sounds like you enjoy your new suspension mod, and it looks great too :D

yes- i know its a fact of life about the lowering ride -- every car i have had has been lowered -- but i do alot of freeway driving and didnt want to have it feel like i was going over bumps when not -- :)

hey -- its been awhile since you had these on --

just thought i'd checkup on the guinea pig and see how they are still doing for ya ---

*im still afraid of coilovers -- it scares me to buy something that has almost double the spring rate of stock -- so maybe ill go air --we'll see :) *

Still perfectly fine. Took a 30mph onramp today at 65ish. Stuck like glue. Of course tires add to that too.

Oh yeah, and I get TONS of people commenting how awesome my car looks! :D
