GTX CV replacement

My GTX is down for a while with what I think is a blown head gasket. I should probably change my CV joints in the front. I've never changed out any CV's... Is it a difficult task? Any special tools needed, how long should it take?

I think the GTX has its own CV's that are not shared by any other 323. Can anybody verify that?
