I been thinking witch one to purchase I need the pros and cons on both turbos?

My Mods:
Turbo XS Down Pipe, Race Pipe
ATP FMIC
PG SRI
Cobb Access Port
HKS Valve.

the reworked will spool faster, the gt2871 will have stronger mid range and top end power. psi to psi, the gt2871 will make more power. where the power hits and if that is important to you, the reworked will come on faster. a tune is more essential on the GT2871 than it is on the reworked. the stock ecu and basic tunes will sufficiently cover the added airflow of the reworked turbo. i'm not saying "hey don't tune" but you stand less a chance of blowing up on a reworked turbo than you do a GT series turbo if you don't have an expert tune. you can make 350whp on a reworked turbo. i've seen more than that. all depends on what you want out of the car at the end of the day. plan on big power and building the motor? reworked turbo is not the answer.

I have heard great things as well about the SST turbo making right around that power level you posted with full bolt ons. I happen to live about 30 miles from Pt performance and have thier upgraded cdfp..great products and service. I think the advise that Captain said was right on the money so its up to you on how much power you truly wanna run.........................On a sidenote I dont know how comfortable I would be running 380 whp on stock internals...I know 18psiwhitems3 made that much with 0 prabs..but could you go 40-50-60-80-100,000 miles on a setup like that without going upgraded forged? eeeeeh dont know. I honestly would enjoy seeing that..For I would like to run that power myself :) Time will telll

i would personally never run above 350 on stock bottom end, regardless of tune or setup.

Thanks for your input, I will stick with PG rebuild turbo, PG exhaust manifold and more. I want to get 350 hp while im in ITT-Tech after I finish and have a real job i will build my engine.
Captain KRM P5 soon i will call you, I just need more time not for the money I already have it, I'm just busy with school right now.

sure thing let me know if you have questions

350 whp seems great and i think inwould be very comortable in that area... Anyway you can run an external waste gate or is that not needed with the reworked ko4.

you can weld shut the internal gate and run external but there is no need

with this gt....you can use the cobb turbo inlet and the cpe downpipe..since its all 3 inch???????????that would be fun

also anything else u recommend with using that big turbo (im fully bolted on)

i have a stock manifold rite now but the dnp one is in the mail rite now.....i have cpe downpipe and cobb turbo inlet(pretty sure i need to change that to a atp inlet) but can i use the cpe downpipe

really? sounds great...looks like i have something to save for

(only reason was i wanted to keep a stock turbo incase i wanted to sell the car stock)

also since im changing the inlet my cobb intake looks small would it be a good idea to maybe switch to a aem cold air? get a lil more power will this fit with turbo xs intercooler?

AND HOW COME PG NEVER PICKS UP WHEN I CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
